An exterior lamp from atop the facade of the 207th Street McDonalds came crashing down onto the sidewalk this afternoon. Fortunately, the fixture landed on the sidewalk and not on somebody’s head. The fallen lamp was approximately the size and shape of a small window air conditioner.

This week in Myrtle Beach, SC, a local man out on home detention was re-arrested after ditching his GPS bracelet in the Intracoastal Waterway. If he’d been initially collared for shoplifting, joyriding, or even drugs, a big “so what?” would be in order.
