I’m thrilled to invite you to the opening reception of “Manhattan 250: The Cityscape in Popular Prints (1776–2001)” on Tuesday, September 8, from 5:00–6:30 PM at the Maggi Peyton Gallery in my office at 1 Centre Street.
Curated by Manhattan Borough Historian Harold Holzer, this special exhibition features works from The Old Print Shop that explore more than two centuries of our borough’s ever-changing cityscape. The exhibition also marks the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, offering an opportunity to reflect on Manhattan’s history, resilience, and transformation.
