The National Weather Service has issued the following:
What: Coastal Flood Statement
Where: Brooklyn, Staten Island, Manhattan & Southern Queens
When: 9/30 at 9 PM to 12 AM
Hazards: Tidal departures of 1/2 ft above normal are possible, resulting in minor flooding of shore roads and/or properties.
Preparedness Actions:
– Coastal residents should be alert for later statements and take action to protect property.
