What: Areal Flood Watch
Where: NYC
When: 1 AM on 12/21 to 1 AM on 12/22
Hazards: Periods of heavy rainfall may cause widespread flooding of poor drainage and low-lying urban areas.
Preparedness Actions:
– Do not drive your vehicle or walk into areas where water covers the roadway as the water depth may be too great to allow you to cross safely.
– If you lose power and have a disability or access needs, or use Life Sustaining Equipment (LSE) and need immediate assistance, dial 9-1-1.
