Too Damn High

April 23, 2018

What would it mean for you if your rent was raised again? For more than half of New Yorkers who pay more than 30% of their income in rent it could mean choosing between food and rent.

Rent Stabilized tenants have the chance to get a Rent Freeze at this years Rent Guidelines Board Preliminary Vote and Hearings. But NOT without a strong showing at the Preliminary Vote to put pressure on the public members.

Join us on April 26 at the Preliminary Vote to demand a Rent Freeze!

Thursday, April 26, 2018, 7:00 P.M.
Public Meeting (Preliminary Vote)
Location: The Great Hall at Cooper Union*
7 East 7th Street
at corner of 3rd Ave. (Basement)
New York, NY 10003

We will be meeting at 4:30pm on April 26th at Meet up with Met Council at McDonalds at 208 Dyckman St at 4:30pm to take the train together! If you can’t make the meet up in Inwood, you can come directly to the Rent Guidelines Board Meeting at 6:30 at Cooper Union, 7 East 7th St.

Tenant power has stopped landlord greed the last three years! We can not let up the pressure to get a 0% rent adjustment. The public members have been swayed by the masses of tenants who attend the Rent Guidelines Board Preliminary Vote and Hearings.
