Uptown Unity Rally Against Racism & Xenophobia was held Monday night in Bennett Park. About a hundred people from the neighborhood came out to show solidarity and stick up for diversity. Among the speakers were Rep. Adriano Espaillat, Councilman Ydanis Rodriguez, NYS Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, and Public Advocate Letitia James.
