The Summer’s wild weather continued this weekend with an enormous downpour on Sunday evening. Those caught outside around 8PM were instantly drenched. Earlier that afternoon a planned Jazz festival in Inwood Park was rained out just before blue skies and sunshine returned. Last week the Northern Lights were visible as far South as Brewster and a meteor shower was part of the show. If was almost as if Mark Twain was talking about Inwood when he said, “if you don’t like the weather, just wait a few minutes.”
