November 14, 2023
We hope this message finds you well and filled with anticipation for the upcoming holiday season. The United Palace of Cultural Arts (UPCA) has been the United Palace theatre’s non-profit arm for 12 years. We have the perfect way for you to embrace the spirit of giving: our inaugural Giving Tuesday campaign. This November 28, we invite you to be a part of “The Art of Giving: Your Gift, Their Stage”, where your gift becomes a spotlight for change.
At UPCA, we wholeheartedly believe in the extraordinary power of the stage to uplift lives, educate our youth, and unite communities. Our mission is to create a platform for local and rising artists to perform, present, and showcase their talents, not only to our Northern Manhattan community but also to the world beyond.
Throughout the coming year, we have exciting movie screenings, live performances, and exhibitions planned, all designed to celebrate the transformative power of the stage. The year begins with the New York City debut of “The Chevalier,” on January 21, 2024, telling the incredible true story of Joseph Bologne, Chevalier de Saint-Georges – the 18th-century Black composer, violinist, fencer, abolitionist, and friend of luminaries like Mozart and Marie Antoinette.
Here’s how your generous donation can provide you with a unique experience:
For a $50 donation: You’ll receive a pair of tickets to attend the New York City premiere of “The Chevalier” on January 21, 2024, and witness this historic event in person.
For a $250 donation: In addition to a ticket to the performance, you’ll gain exclusive access to the after-party where you can mingle with the cast and creators, gaining insights into the making of this extraordinary production.
Every dollar makes a difference in supporting artists, enriching our community, and fostering creativity, diversity, and unity.
Keep reading to find out how you can double your gift’s impact.
