Upper Manhattan’s NY Assembly Member, Manny De Los Santos, and our State’s Lt. Governor, Antonio Delgado, visited several Inwood restaurants this afternoon. The purpose of the outing was to find out how the State can best support local businesses in this area.

De Los Santos told the Gazette that it’s important to bring State leaders to the community so they can get a better understanding of the district. The Lt. Governor‘s visit to Dyckman’s restaurant row was a low key affair that featured unhurried face to face conversations with some of the people who operate these venues. The pair stopped at Pat’e Palo, Il Sole, and Beans and Vines. They were accompanied by Jeffrey Garcia, owner of Mon Amour Coffee & Wine and the President of NYS Latino Restaurant Association. and by Paul Gagliardi, Owner of Flair Beverages on 9th Avenue. They had conversations with Sandra Jaquez (Il Sole), Carl Cutting (Pat’e Palo), Yajaira Gonzalez (Pop & Pour Wine Bar), and Edson A Familia (Beans And Vines).
