On this date in 2012 Superstorm Sandy was rolling into town. Inwood’s pretty elevated so the flooding up here wasn’t as bad as downtown. But the rain and wind were still a lot more than we’re used to. The subway and most businesses closed but the Domino’s delivery guys were very busy, God bless ’em. We took a walk around the neighborhood that day, camera sheathed in a plastic bag, and took a few shots. Bottom line: we were spared.
