Five years ago COVID-19 upended our everyday routines concerning work, school, public transport, handwashing and ‘social distancing.’ Here, at the Inwood Gazette, March 2020 was a very busy month. We published over 60 posts, the vast majority of which concerned the novel coronavirus pandemic. On March 11, 2020 the headline read simply, Pandemic. It reported the then and current President’s Oval Office address on the developing story that would define both his term in office and our lives in general for the next 2 years.
