The creative team from ‘Danny 45’ did a Q&A after the screening on Saturday night at Thalia.

‘Danny 45’ is an intense prison drama based on a true story and set in La Victoria, DR’s biggest and most famous lockup. The movie recreates a particular crisis in the 90’s and features a lot of graphic violence as the joint went totally out of control. The creative team did a great job of conveying the oppressive, frightening and ultraviolent nature of life inside this pen. It’s a compelling glimpse into a nightmarish world that nobody would willingly enter into in real life!

You can check out the remaining films lineup here. Screenings are located throughout the borough, including at The United Palace up here and Thalia on the Upper West Side.
