Friday Night Party +

September 20, 2024

Rubin Museum

On October 6, the Rubin will close the building at 150 West 17th Street and transform into a global museum model, continuing to present Himalayan art through traveling exhibitions, digital experiences, and collaborations in the United States, Asia, Europe, and beyond.

To mark the transition, join us for a 17th Street Farewell Party on Friday, October 4 from 6:00–10:00 PM and toast to the Rubin’s next chapter. Enjoy free admission, including our 20th-anniversary exhibition Reimagine: Himalayan Art Now, cocktails, live DJ music by DJ Rekha, and a dance party. Reservations are encouraged. A limited number of tickets will be available onsite on a first-come, first-served basis.

Can’t make it Friday evening? Plan a visit during regular hours Thursday, October 3, through Sunday, October 6, or join us for the Farewell Ceremony on Sunday, October 6 at 5:00 PM. The Museum will offer free admission all weekend long!
