What began as a one time/one day event in the Summer of 1974 (“Harlem Day”) has become a week long plus annual tradition. This year’s Harlem Week marks the 50th year the event’s being held. As always, there will be great music, food, crafts, films and other outstanding attractions to draw huge crowds and celebrate this legendary neighborhood. Harlem Week starts off this Wednesday (August 7) with a Climate Change conference, and a Night Market, Summer Stage and Film Festival on Thursday (August 8). The grand finale is Harlem Day on August 18 from 1-7PM.
