Twenty four passengers sustained non-life threatening injuries this afternoon when an Uptown 1 hit a parked work train near 96th and Broadway, according to FDNY. The MTA tweeted that the damaged trains will be moved to storage as soon as possible, and the track will be inspected and repaired if needed. For now, 1,2, and 3 service is still disrupted on the UWS.
