The current show, Designing Peace, at Cooper Hewett Museum over on the East Side explores the role of design in pursuing peace. From children’s see-saws designed to span the border fence between Mexico and USA to a prayer rug made with bullet casings, the dozens of exhibits here show the awesome range of human imagination. Viewers will have an opportunity to consider what’s possible if some of the resources dedicated to military budgets and conflict were directed to supporting peace instead.

The exhibit runs until August 6 and is part of Culture Pass so you can go for free.
