A huge, pre-dawn fire broke out today at 4996 Broadway between Isham and West 212 Streets. FDNYalerts tweeted that the 2-Alarm call was under control at 0448 hrs.
The building is mainly residential, but a number of local businesses including Choc nyc and Isham Broadway Pharmacy also share the address.
By day, extensive damage to the building was evident and the smell of smoke lingered into the afternoon. The incident was live streamed on the Citizen app.
