There was a touch of medieval in the air today and it wasn’t just the remnants of Hurricane Ian. The Medieval Festival, held annually at the Met Cloisters in Fort Tryon Park, returned following a two year pandemic break. The occasion was marked by blustery winds and chilly rain that held down attendance. Nevertheless, there were plenty of costumed performers and fans, m’ladies, sires, lords, kings, queens, and armored knights determined to come to the fair, come reign or come shine.
