Early this morning around 1:30 AM an arsonist lit a pile of trash near a parked car on Seaman Avenue near W207 Street. An alert building employee rushed outside and extinguished it, but the car’s right front fender and wheel were already burned. Police responded but reportedly did not inquire about security camera recordings. The Gazette tried to reach whoever left a note on the car with a number to call for information about the incident, but there was no answer.
