Programming will take place rain or shine at The Hudson, located at Dyckman Marina in Inwood Hill Park, 348 Dyckman Street, New York, NY 10034. Food and drink available for purchase until 9pm.

Tickets required through www.inwoodartworks.nyc and Eventbrite only. Unclaimed tickets will be released by 7:50pm to the Wait List. Walk-ups will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Seating for 80 people will be provided on first-come first served basis, but you can also bring your own folding chairs if you prefer, to guarantee your seat. All Covid-19 protocols followed as advised by CDC.

Film Works Alfresco focuses foremost on presenting independent and popular films with local relevance that culturally resonate with the Northern Manhattan community. It is New York City’s only free outdoor English and Spanish cinema series.
This curated film and local artists series by Inwood Art Works provides free screenings and theatrical performances every Monday evening at sundown at The Hudson, located at 348 Dyckman Street on the edge of Inwood Hill Park and the Hudson River, from June 7 through August 30, 2021. Pre-show performances by local artists begin a half hour before the film.
Matt Higgins is an original member of the spontaneous theatre troupes Centralia and Burn Manhattan. His improvisation bears the indelible influence of directors Shira Piven and Paul Sills, as well as teachers Ralph Buckley, Paul Lazar, and Josh Broder. Matt is an Andy Kaufman Award Finalist and his stand-up has appeared on Comedy Central. His TV Credits include: The Jim Gaffigan Show, Late Night and Law & Order. Films include Shadowboxer, a Lee Daniels film. Matt is a founding member of UP Theater Company. Together with Josh Liveright and Victor Verhaeghe, Matt launched “What If?”, a short film project about choosing love over hate, fear and violence. The “What If?” films have played festivals in New York City, Los Angeles, and Tokyo. August 8th and 9th 2018 the “What If” shorts screened at the Peace Memorial building in Nagasaki, Japan, as part of the 73rd anniversary commemoration of the 1945 atomic bombing. In early 2019 Matt wrapped production on The Improvisor, an improv comedy concert film co-produced and directed by Josh Liveright. Matt performs regularly with Centralia at The Peoples Improv Theater in New York City.
