A loud screech followed by a crash around 10 PM announced a collision between an SUV and a revel scooter at W207th and Cooper Street. An eyewitness told the Gazette that the scooter operator was traveling eastbound on W207th and beeping the horn while approaching the intersection. At that moment, a black SUV driving north on Cooper crossed 207th, reportedly with the light. The scooter then plowed into the side of the SUV. Police and EMS responded, took reports and checked for patients.
