A loud crash was heard around 2230 last night. Two vehicles crashed at the intersection of Cooper and W207 Streets. Both were Mercedes, both white, both moderately damaged. Witnesses told the Gazette that as of about 10 minutes after the crash no ambulance had yet arrived but one did show up shortly afterwards. A patient was checked out by EMS. Several NYPD officers were on the scene. Airbags had deployed in both vehicles. One of the vehicles wound up on the sidewalk in front of the bodega, but fortunately nobody was struck.
