The Columbia University Lions football team welcomed local fans today for Northern Manhattan Neighbors Appreciation Day. Anyone showing ID with an uptown address was comped in for this afternoon’s game against Marist. It was a swell game between two well matched teams and there were plenty of familiar faces from the neighborhood in attendance. The final score was Columbia 34, Marist 24.
