Thousands of music lovers gathered on the Great Lawn in Central Park on a gorgeous Fall afternoon today to help celebrate #ClimateWeekNYC. The biggest Climate Week in the world runs concurrently with the UN General Assembly. The Global Citizen Festival in the Park today featured music by Janet Jackson, John Legend, Janelle Monáe and many others. Tickets were free for anyone who took a series of actions to create change around the world, such as sending a tweet, writing a letter, or signing a petition.
